I hear this same assumption a lot. Good, honest people can't fathom that pharmaceutical companies, health systems, and scientists would ever knowingly release something that doesn't work, is harmful, or doesn't have a valid scientific foundation. No one would ever harm a child.... right? Until five years ago, I was one of those doctors, thinking that the government agencies were doing their jobs, I was getting the true data, and the companies would be prosecuted and be put out of business if harm was actually occurring. Thank you for all of your hard work. It’s futile for people to accept info that is contrary to their ingrained beliefs, especially when their identity is tied to their belief system. The more indoctrinated someone is to their beliefs the less they can shift. We can’t make them understand evidence so we need good lawyers to argue in front of an impartial judge & let a judge rule. I’m preaching to the choir, I know, because that’s why lawyers query jurors. Thank you for taking these cases!
