I had Covid in February 2020. My now former doctor confirmed in November 2020 that I had indeed had Covid. HOWEVER- when I reached out to her office last September when my employer issued a vaccine mandate she immediately said she would not sign a medical exemption (even though that is not something I asked for at that point; I simply had called to ask for labs to check for antibodies because I was trying to consider whether to submit a medical or religious exemption). She literally told me that even though I had Covid I could get it again so I should get the “safe and effective vaccine“. She sounded just like a big Pharma rep. I changed doctors immediately after that. I did get a religious exemption for my employer but I had to fight for that and agree to masking up and weekly Covid testing which I submitted to for six months. Every test was negative meanwhile the vaccinated people at my workplace who did not even have to randomly test for Covid were getting sick with Covid left and right.... one triple vaxxed colleague said he felt like he had been hit with a train. The mandatory weekly testing ended in May. Ironically I may have had Covid (the omicron variant) a few weeks later and recovered just fine. I do not understand why natural immunity is so demonized and rapidly dismissed. Sorry for the long comment but this issue is a really big one for me.
